YOUNG TECH ENTREPRENEUR

The Young Tech Entrepreneur program strives to encourage self-sufficiency and close the wealth gap through tech and entrepreneurship. This program is sponsored by The Pollination Project.
In this program, youth ages 14-24 will learn tech skills that will enable them to create a business that can decrease the poverty rate in the area and encourage generational wealth.

This program is designed to be completed in 6 weeks. The sections and topics will be taught as follows:
SECTION 1: METHOD
This section will introduce the tech topics that will enable participants to build a business. They are as follows:

Week 1: Introduction to STEM and Tech

Week 2: User Experience (UX) Research and Design, Data Science, Content/Video Production
SECTION 2: MONEY
This section will discuss money and business. They are as follows:

Week 3: How to set your business up as a legal entity, Online and Social Media Presence Marketing and Advertising

Week 4: Insurance and Financial Smarts: Saving and Investing
SECTION 3: MINDSET
This section will help the participants to develop a mindset as professional business owners. They are as follows:

Week 5: Professionalism and Customer Service, Business Communication, Staying Confident and Fighting Imposter Syndrome

Week 6: Staying Grounded but Focused, Giving Back Responsibly
INVESTMENT: $197 participation fee
